History

DeWitt Public Schools Foundation

The DeWitt Public Schools Foundation was organized in 1984 for the welfare and benefit of students enrolled in DeWitt Public Schools. The goal of the foundation is to provide financial support for important educational activities not currently provided through school district funding. Through individual grants to teachers, the foundation is able to fund enrichment projects and programs, including field trips or classroom technology, special materials or teaching aids and performing arts.

The foundation is a member of the Capitol Area United Way campaign and contributions can be made through payroll deduction by indicating the organization’s name and using the code 1417. In addition, contributions can be made by making a pledge, designating the foundation as a beneficiary, creating a trust, or including the foundation in estate planning. All contributions are tax-deductible.

To contribute directly to DeWitt Public Schools Foundation, mail your contribution to DeWitt Schools Foundation, PO Box 292, DeWitt, MI 48820.
