Our Impact

Classroom Grants

We are happy to announce that during the fall portion of the 2022 school year, we were able to give $2,800 in grants to 5 staff initiatives. This amount will promote such ventures such as ongoing teacher training, inspirational signs in Herbison Woods, classroom kits of Slumberkins, classroom organization materials, and green recycling initiatives.

Student Scholarships

For the class of 2022, the Foundation awarded $34,500 in scholarship funds.  Each year, the Foundation provides numerous scholarships to deserving DeWitt graduating seniors who want to continue their education at colleges, universities, or trade schools. The funds for these scholarships come from donations from businesses, alumni, and members of the community
