Bio

After a career as a supervising secretary in the Michigan Department of Education's Special Education Services, I retired. I volunteered as a youth cheer coach for the Jr. Panthers Football and Cheer program for 7 years, and 1 year as a middle school intermural cheer coach. I've also returned to cheer with our other alumni cheerleaders every five years. I worked for the DeWitt Public Schools in a variety of positions in each of the buildings for 17 years. Then I retired again! I still volunteer for various events around the district, including almost 20 years of working Panther football games. I have two children who serve in our military (also DeWitt alumni), so I am on year three of serving as President of the DeWitt Chapter of the Blue Star Mothers of America.
